About me

I am a bilingual plumbing instructor dedicated to supporting the Latino community newly arrived in the United States. I provide practical training in plumbing in Spanish while teaching basic English applied to the trade, with the goal of preparing Plumbing Technicians ready to quickly join the workforce.

My approach combines:

• Hands-on technical training: installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Workplace English: essential vocabulary and common phrases used in construction and technical services.
• Career guidance: interview preparation, workplace safety, and cultural adaptation.

With this methodology, students not only learn a highly in-demand trade but also develop the communication tools necessary to grow professionally in the U.S.

Background and Heritage

I was born in Venezuela to Ukrainian parents who emigrated in search of a better future. My identity is deeply shaped by this combination of roots: Ukrainian heritage, Venezuelan upbringing, and the professional and cultural experience I have gained living in the United States.

Professional Experience

I trained as a Construction Technician and worked on major construction projects in Venezuela, where I strengthened my technical and management expertise.

In 1994, I became an entrepreneur by founding a company dedicated to the distribution of plumbing products, which I have successfully managed to this day, maintaining a reputation of commitment and consistency.

Currently, I live in Florida and serve as a Professor of Plumbing at a Technological Institute in Miami, where I share my knowledge and practical experience with new generations of students, preparing them to become skilled technicians in the field.

Artistic and Cultural Interests

In addition to my professional career, I am passionate about the arts. I dedicate time to painting and to music, especially the piano and guitar, which allow me to express creativity and balance in life.

Current Outlook

At 70 years old, I continue to learn, teach, and create every day. My path reflects a life dedicated to construction, education, entrepreneurship, and art, with the purpose of contributing knowledge and values to both my family and my students.
